Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Felix's father Paul Felix is an ordained minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed a knack for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she placed 2nd in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003 and was signed by Adidas an agreement as a professional athlete. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. The following year, Felix earned her very first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making an all-time junior world record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended the title against her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
